Pure Slingporn...
Looking at it excites me, driving it rubs me in a special way.

I'd disagree @Slingrazor... She got her own didn't she???
And BTW, I want your engine (everything under the hood)!

She actually got her own twice. The one I have was purchased for her on Valentines Day last year. It eventually morphed into mine, so I sold the bike bought hers, and now she asks for mods...What a great life.

3 hours to remove the engine. 3 hours to put it back. No need to remove the transmission. Just put a jack under the transmission to support it and slide the engine right out. When you put the new clutch and flywheel onto the engine just use the alignment tool to line the clutch disk up and tightened it all down.
Interesting. I had misunderstood previous postings as I thought the engine and trans came out as a single unit. I still think disassembling the entire front end to get to the clutch is stoopid.

The following is just something funny that ran thru my head this morning,,,,,,
After talking with Dave at DDM I have been looking for a smaller pulley for his supercharger setup... The smaller the pulley the faster it spins... The faster it spins the more boost you get.
If you want it to keep up with the turbo setups I think the best option is just to have a machine shop cut belt grooves into the bolt itself....
I did find some smaller pulleys finally.....

I am bringing good news with this post..... Many of the members want to see the true difference on paper between the supercharger and the turbo....
If I can keep my work schedule clear and make it to DDMWorks next Thursday or Friday we will be running my turbo SS and Dave's supercharged SS on the dyno and comparing the power output of both. I think the main difference is going to be where each one delivers power...
We shall see.
I kinda feel like i may be going into a one sided knife fight.... @Dave@DDMWorks and @Jeff@DDMWorks probably have that Rotrex blower turned up to 22PSI and fire coming out of the exhaust.....

Its not hard to pull the engine out.... The hardest part is getting someone to help me lift the hood off.
The whole front clip comes off with 6 bolts.
The radiator is just two bolts. and then the exhaust and intake come off.The transmission has about 8 18mm bolts ...
Seriously , its harder than just slipping the transmission back and dropping it but its still not a bad job.....

I was able to remove my hood by myself. I popped the hood, but left it down. I was then able to remove the 4 bolts attaching it to the front hinge assembly. I placed a few thick towels on the floor in front of it and then just lifted the rear of it and slid it gently to the ground so it was standing on its nose. I was then able to move it to a corner of the garage and placed it on more towels. I was able to install it myself as well reversing the procedure.

Thought I would show off the outstanding product DDM Works produces. The punch it delivers is by far better than the looks it generates.
Looking good ! Glad you like it. Let me know how that show goes.

are you making cookies?
They're making donuts for sure...

The Cookie pan is actually an oil catch pan we use with the slingshot on the dyno so it doesn't catch the lift on fire.
