Burt Reynolds Introduces the NEW Bandit Trans Am

Are they out? I saw a new Trans -Am the other day parked. Almost looks like a cross between Camero / Mustang , had the bird on hood, was pretty sharp looking. I came home and said to my wife they make Trans-Am again??

I believe it is a kit that goes on the camaro. It looks good. Always liked Pontiacs performance brand.

Did I hear that only 77 are being built?? What the hell is that price tag??!!! 840 HP to the crank alone, is big, big, money!!!

Saw one here in Panama City Beach last November at the Cruizn the Coast. It looked pretty sweet in person. Sounded even better.

actually, the company making these has no affiliation with Pontiac.
they take a new camero, strip it down to the skeleton frame, gut the interior, modify the engine,use a CNC to cut t tops accurately and rebuild a replica with that 840 hp....
the company is just named TRANS AM

Now if I only had $115000 laying around. I believe they had done some a few years back also.

Id be happy with any of the older body style trans am's
never cared for latter design

its more than just a kit. it is a totally rebuilt camero inside and outside, under the hood, and TRANSformed into a TRANS am.. by a company not affiliated with Pontiac at all.

After I saw this and Twist Dynamics new t-tops I thought it would be cool to have a bandit Slingshot...anyone?

Yea.... ..no... slingshot is good as is. Trans am is good as is... mixing the two would be a Frankenstein of multiple personalities...lol but I'd probably be curious enough to check it out if ever on was transformed.
