What has happened to this site.

    I have a question, why would you think looking at a NSFW site would be a good idea for you and your grandson to do. You need to be signed in to view it or otherwise it would never be available to you. It was your choice to expose him and I personally think it is unfair to blame the site for your choice.

    First , I have to say it does get out of hand..... I agree that someone needs to be a lookout in that area and I will find someone for that job. I want to apologize for letting some of the rougher pictures get by as long as they did..


    Now that I have said that , Im going to take the time once more to explain how this works....


    On any other site their is porn and nasty pictures. Its part of the forum world and it really can't be separated..... It can't... You may think it can , but it can't....


    So , I took measures to separate that part from the normal forum.... If you are NOT a forum member you can't even see that NSFW area. You won't even know that there is a NSFW section....
    Once you become a member you will be able to see the SECTION but YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS..... YOU HAVE TO ASK TO BE A PART OF THAT AREA>>>>>
    Once you ask you will be GRANTED access..


    If you want to leave that area I can show you how to do that....


    NOW, try out some of the other forums , and get you some of that,..... You will find out real fast how bad it sucks to have all those images mixed in with regular posts in a thread. This way the members can keep the forum clean and you don't have to worry about seeing anything when you don't want to see anything bad.


    The "dark side" just mixes the threads up and you can't help but see inappropriate images when scrolling thru the post...


    It's simple to leave the NSFW section. Just click your name in the top corner and go to groups and leave the NSFW group. Then you wont see anything offensive ...


    I dont blame anyone for not being a part of it... Im a part of it but I don't get a lot of free time to look at it. I do like the jokes when I have a extra minute.




    I come here for the SS information. Having said that, my daughters see naked women all the time (e.g., Kim Kardashian 'breaking the Internet'), and that is in the general domain, not in a restricted area (remember, no one is allowed access to NSFW section unless confirming they are of legal age). I don't post images in NSFW, but then again, I don't swap recipes, discuss politics, or many of the other non-SS threads on this site. The main focus of this site is SS, but it builds a sense of community to have SS friends share outside activities, provided they are not illegal.

    I got ya TCB. I completely understand. I just want everybody happy. And I want to say "I'm sorry" to anybody that is offended by something on the site. I have done the best job I can to keep that type of material behind closed doors. And I agree that it had turned a bit gross and to nasty for even me.


    How bout I say this... I will find someone to monitor that area and delete the pictures that are really bad. And we all know which pictures they are. It dosen't take a rocket scientist to pick them out..

    Hey - IMO we are all adults here and have already cleaned up the NSFW threads. Everybody's opinion and views should be respected. Most of us were on the Dark Side for a LONG time having to watch everything you say or post. @rabtech has created a very friendly home here for all of us and I am very appreciative. It is simple - in the NSFW threads we ALL know what is over the line - just don't do it! Any thread outside of the NSFW - give it the Mom test - if you wouldn't want your Mom to know you posted it - just don't do it! These 2 simple rules will make life much simpler for the administrators saving them from having to be the "Porn Police".

    Sites for adults should be viewed by Adults not kids.
    Forums can be rough in language and in visual aids so I say view at your own risk!

    @rabtech, I applaud your moderating prowess. I also agree that you have done a great job at separating "The Good, The Bad, and The Not So Appropriate". I've contributed my share of the latter. Albeit, I am hoping that none of those crossed the line. That point alone could be debated till the end of time by each member. Understanding the differences of each member is not an exact science and at best, is a very slippery slope. As we are all responsible for our own postings, we are also held accountable for said postings. We all respect the views of the members who do not share the same (for lack of a better word) passion as some of us do.

    If I remember correctly, this site was largely developed because of over moderation, etc on the "other" site. Ya, I have posted some things that were over the line. I regret that and removed those postings. However...in the NSFW site, anyone going in should know that one will see and read things that are not for general public viewing. Given that, enter the site at your own risk. If you don't like it, leave that forum and don't return...that is perfectly okay.


    Inappropriate postings on other forums is a different matter. One would hope that those of us who go to the other forums will use all due discretion if we are going to post a comment, joke, picture, or actually contribute something CONSTRUCTIVE to the topic. One must keep in mind that everybody has their own brand of humor and tolerance levels.


    @rabtech, you have done and are doing one hell of a job with this site. I thank you for your hard work. Bear in mind Bro, you ain't gonna please everybody.
