I've had both those question too. I guess the people of Walmart don't just hang out at Walmart.

I wouldn't necessarily say "weird" questions but these are the most FAQs.

What is it?
Does it have a top?
Where did you buy this?
How much was it?
How fast does it go?
Does it float?
Can I take a picture?
What kind of gas mileage does it get?
Is it street legal?
Do you have to have a motorcycle license?
Do you have to wear that helmet?
Aren't you cold?

this last winter I got- "Boy, I bet its great in the snow!"
I sometimes tell them- yeah- it's terrific!

You should KNOW those two things (driving on the road, and not being road-legal) have nothing to do with each other.

Best response when they ask if it's street legal is "No, I'm just riding around waiting for the cops to pull me over."

"Wanna trade?" From a large, misshapen lady with scraggly hair and about 4 teeth, driving a beat-up Explorer that could probably have gotten antique plates.

A couple weeks ago, at the gas station, from an older gentleman, "So is that thing fun to drive?"

I'm thinking, "what's it look like, dude?" My response, without even pausing: "This thing is the most fun I've ever had that didn't involve guns or naked women." I think I offended the lady at the pump on the other side of me....oh, well.

Been using that line ever since...

Two recent ones were:
"How long did it take you to build that?" answer..."not long"
Had a guy walk over at a rest stop on way home from Maggie from his Prius, only question he had is "what kind of gas mileage do you get?" I said 30, he said he got 48. I said, yeah, these are really similar vehicles, I just got the sportier options.
