I have a 72inch mower that I keep the pasture cleaned up with. It has been eating up Kevlar belts for the last 2 summers. So I have decided to finally fix it. I have an idler bent. And it has sharp edges. So it's whittling the belt down slowly as its turning. Sometimes I have a pile of belt fluff on top of the mower deck.
I hate working on farm equipment.

I love working on stuff like that. But it can be a pain. Finding parts getting rusty old parts off. My father in law has gotten a reputation for working on heavy equipment. Locally here he gets calls from guys out in the field to work on tractor's, front end loaders, etc etc etc. Lots of local farmers call him and its usually a piece of machinery out in the field and they need it fixed asap. I've gone with him a couple of times. The places we have to get out to and parts that have to get changed onsite can be crazy.
