Here's day 1 with my entry to Kerrville and our first ride out on the way to the Garven's Store (Thanks @DKF Texas for leading!)... I'm behind @Tango for most of it (his grippy, gravel throwing tire and all... I think you might know @MACAWS... 
). Then I give @Rob the Slob his hat back which had flown off and I stopped to pick up. He returned the favor by attempting to buy me a hat from DDM Works, but @Ivy@DDMWorks is too cool (had no change at the time 
) and hooked me and @jorgebri60 up with free hats!

Well, It's my turn. Made it home Yesterday early evening and I have to say what a fantastic time I had. It was my first Slingshot gathering and what a pleasure it was to meet everyone. I must say I felt a little awkward riding in Thursday evening not knowing anyone. Felt kinda like the new kid at a new school. Leave it to @Rob the Slob to break the ice. He walked up to me, introduced himself and from there on it was "this is...." and just like that it was like I'd known everyone for years. Again folks, what I fantastic group of people we have in this forum and meeting some of you in person was an honor. Thank you very much to all of you for letting me hang with ya'll

We are back in the office today (well some of us anyway, El Jefe and Angie have a well deserved day off) It was great seeing everyone out there, we were able to meet a lot of new faces and had a great time. The event went great, nice people, great food (El Jefe demaded we have lots of tacos) and great vendors. Since it is the first event of the season for us, it is always nice to see Slingshot Only and Twist Dynamics and all of their guys, everyone at Welter Performance @Jeff Welter is super nice and hard working and Brandon from @slingmods @SlingMods Brandon was just great and helpful. We were pretty busy and didn't get a chance to go over and talk with the F4 people, hope to talk with them next time, they looked busy! Really looking forward to next year already out there in Texas, hopefully get a chance to actually go on a ride also! Thanks for everyone that stopped by and said hello, what a great group! Now back to work and digging out from a bunch of phone calls, emails, CRM's, etc.

Yes Mark, I did. i stay away from the forums while away from the house, so didn't see the pics or read anything until we got home. It was a great time meeting a bunch of cool people. The best thing about being bad with names is I get to meet them all again in Maggie Valley, Vail, or back in Texas next year. I hate to name names of those who I do remember, but Rob the slob, Spudman and Mims won't soon be forgotten. Plus the old timers (no disrespect meant) like Danna, Norm aka Tango, Anita added to the fun.
The best part was when Judy and I headed out on our own one day, and half way through our run, we stopped for gas at this little country store/gas station that had a gas pump that took forever to fill the tank. When we were ready to leave, we saw this group of slingshots blast by. We hopped into mine and took off after them. When I caught up to them, I could see white lettering on the tires of the one in front of me. I also saw side pipes on BOTH sides, so I KNEW right away it was Norm (Tango) and his powerful Alpha powered V-8. When we stopped, I found out it was Danna leading us through her old stomping grounds. The only problem with this ride was the fact that I joined in at the tail end of it. It sure would have been nice to do the entire ride. I was under the impression that speed limit signs meant something in Texas. The way this group was ridding was a breath of fresh air. Being on the tail end was great. I only had to look in the mirror once in a while since there was no way any LEO would have taken these turns at the speeds we did.
Thanks Danna and company for allowing me to join in your party. It meant a LOT to me
