It seems 305/30/R20 tires are hard to find. I went with a Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car 3. Seems pretty soft. We used to run Goodyear Eagles on our Crown Vic’s and got about 10,000 miles out of a set. I’d be happy with that.

Sorry brother, I must be reading this wrong. You're talking about the Slingshot, not a Ford Crown Victoria?

5100 out of my factory Slingshot tire. We got 10000 out of Goodyear Eagles on our Crown Victorias. They were sticky but didn't last long.

NO I am sure if they send you pic of Crown Victoria it has one wheel removed making it a 3 wheeler...Come on guys were is sense of humor..LOL

Lets see about adding a Supercharger to the mix? No matter what kind of tire...It doesn't last!!!

Just changed my rear out. 9300 miles. Still had a little bit of tread left, but going on a 2 week road trip and didn't want to chance it. If it was just local riding I would have likely kept it for one more seaon. I did find last year that I didn't like the stock Kenda tire though.
Put on a Falken FK510. Great reviews from hot rodders/racers around where I live

Does anyone know the max width tire I can put on a stock 2016 SL rim for the rear?
My tires all have good tread left, but I want the look of a bigger, wider rear tire. The SS almost commands this. The stock just aint wide enough for me. LOL.

......I agree, it took me about 3-4 riding seasons to finally catch someone selling their SLR wheels with the 305 rear tire since my 2017 base model came with those dreadful 17s in the front and 18 in the rear......was glad when I finally removed those wheels....

you will need a new rim to get the wider tire. I believe stock was 9" rim with a 255 width tire. Newer ones have a 11" rim and a 305 tire stock.

I put a 275 on my stock 2016 SL rim. I think that's max for the rim without pushing the limits.

The max would be a 305...just me?...the wider you go your rear tire would be like a skating rink...there is no extra weigh to hold the ass end down! Trust me! I now!?#$
