Who Has 100,000 miles on their Slingshot

I guess it depends on if you care about the longevity and miles on the individual slingshot or if you care about the miles put down by the individual driver in a slingshot

There is no doubt that the GM engine slingshots have proven they can last and put down the miles, And as an owner of a GM engine Slingshot I find that very comforting as I continue to put miles on mine, But as I said before from an informational point of view in this thread I personally care more about the slingshot miles driven by the individual, if a person were to put down your 1,000,000 miles all in slingshots that would be very impressive to me, I shows the dedication of the driver to being out on the road in a slingshot

Perhaps the thread should ask - who's driven more than 100k miles in a slingshot? - - - would that make it better?

I suspect that in time there will be very many with the GM motor that make it that far or further - its a well tested design.

Heck I would think that some of the rental slingshots will pack on the miles pretty quickly

Why not both? Simply state. Both are good stuff!

Heck, I feel I am doing pretty good with my 2016 as I approach 40k miles - - - I see so many people who buy a Slingshot and then seem to be ready to sell in after only having had it a very short time. coming up on 40k with no intention of stopping, slow and steady in my little daily driver go kart

Most of us are here to visit with friends and make some new ones. And for Harvey's entertainment thro around a little 'BS'.

So I guess that makes me curious to the question... I know we have those here with accumulated miles but do we have a sling here with 100k on the odometer?

so I guess that with my 2017 and only just now starting to scratch at 6K that i have a very long way to go? lol.

And it one of the reasons why I am very glad I have one that came with the GM motor. It may not be a fancy high RPM motor like the new Polaris motor, but it has a proven track record not only in the Slingshot, but also in many other GM vehicles. As you said I find it comforting, especially on rides like yesterdays when I am all alone out on some secluded desert highway

I have had mine for 3 years and just don't get enough time to throw on miles....

Still love every moment I get!

i just looked at mine last night, i am at 5957 and i bought it in 2017 with no mileage. i really dont drive it enough
