I have to say I can’t imagine how it handles for you with that kind of weight in the stern. Hope you’re driving slow around corners!!

You know, everyone says that but with the cargo only a couple feet behind the rear axle, which would be the pivot point, and the ecotec engine 6 or 7 feet in front of it as well as a driver and passenger 4 or 5 feet in front of it, I wouldn't think it would have that much effect. Of course you're not going to want to slam the corners.
I have a beautiful set of MeanSling roll hoop bags that have never even been mounted on the hoops - - Wife is not real big on riding in the Slingshot and so far the few trips I have talked her into we have managed to get everything in the behind the seat storage areas
But just in case we ever need them - - - - I do have them

One young lady did have a problem last summer with a similar rack but she was running the curves and had 2 BIG flags flapping in the breeze.

I know but we did the ride, yes it was a while ago before my Barbie had the stroke, and yes we will ride again soon at MV
We bought these for our last tour and it was money well spent. $13 for two neck daddies (can’t beat that) and $35 apiece for the puffy pants. I wear a 37/36 blue Jean and these fit over them nicely and we’re not bulky, but most importantly kept the wind off the top of our thighs.
We won’t leave home without them on a cool winters day.😎
My pants from motorcycle days are similar but ours velcro around legs. Wear them below 60 degrees and love them. We have heated gear for below 50.

Mine are from my days on 2 wheels (and three Can-Am) as well. I have First Gear pants and jacket that are water proof and insulated.....
I bought the Tour Master gear many years ago and I still use it to this day.
Comes with zip in wind breaker and zip in insulation in both jacket and pants.
Love them!
ivseen those before
