A potential alternative to the Slingshot, if it makes it to market

I like open air
-
I saw this, smells like another Elio to me...
-
Looks cool, but they would still make me wear a motorcycle helmet while driving it on base... lol
-
I like open air
I'm with ya on that.

A totally different concept and purpose when compared to the SlingShot, IMO.

I got to start saving now. Let's see I am 74 and retired how old will I be when I save a extra 149K. I like open air also as long is the air is between 60 to 80 degrees.

To me just because a vehicle has three wheels does not mean it is similar to or competition to the Slingshot. To me the Slingshot is a fully open experience that is very comparable to the experience of a motorcycle - on the other hand three wheeled vehicle that are enclosed with windows and a roof - well that is just a three wheeled car - just another cage
this is no doubt an interesting vehicle and I really hope they succeed and make it to market, but no matter what happens it will never be something I place in the same class as my Slingshot - - no more than I would classify all 4 wheeled vehicles in the same class - - the difference far out weigh the similarity created by having the same number of wheels

We’re all familiar with the Vanderhall reverse trikes by now.
They’re releasing a 4-wheel vehicle called the Navarro for 2022. Just happened to run across it today...

Given the HP claims Vanderhall makes for their current gas-powered vehicles, I'd question their power claims. I love how their write-up uses present t4nse as if that vehicle already exists and isn't some idea in someone's head.
I actually saw a Vanderhall 3-wheeler for the first time on the road just the other day. The guy driving it looked cramped and had his right shoulder looking like it was overflowing into the passenger area.
I feel any 3-wheel performance-oriented vehicle, open-air or not, can only help popularize 3-wheel vehicles and help overcome prejudices against 3-wheel vehicles are and the belief they lack handling and are "dangerous."

D J, I'm sure you won't need to save too long. When they opened up last week their accepting deposits, it stated you only needed a $100 to reserve your spot. I was all over sending mine in when they said the base models were going to be $20,000. Later in the article it said the zero to 60 mph was 1.8 seconds. They somehow failed to tell you that the base model was zero to 60 mph in a little less than an hour!! j/k. Hate to have to shell out over another $150K to get that performance. The old bait and switch lives in Canada as well as here in Washington

You didn't read it close enough I think it said the $20K was 0 to 60 in 7 seconds but will not swear to that. may have been 7 hours. It will only do 80
-
lol. Yes, it is 7 seconds but after driving a turbo slingshot, it's going to FEEL like 7 HOURS
-
Na it takes me that long to get to 45.
-
Do they call it a car or a motorcycle....it won’t be $20,000 after they do all the crash tests and air bags and all the other safety stuff...
-
Vaporware. The styling, range and all electric tells me that $20k is EXTREMELY optimistic.
