I’d even rent out mine. I am only 1 1/2 hours away
If you are serious, I'll keep that in mind! Depending on weather and availability, I'd like to rent one to ride to That Pretty Place. Is yours auto or manual?

We'll find a seat in a Slingshot for you ...
I have no doubt because you all are the best! Already have one offer.
I'm taking Amtrak from Washington State to Washington, D.C. and will rent a car. Plan to arrive May 25 for the week. Excited to see everyone - it's been awhile!
Did you have your Slingshot out???
I sure did!
We've had 4 70 degree days here so time for a ride! These were taken near Leavenworth, Washington.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
Oh good, I get to follow the butt jokes. Sending good wishes, ConnMan. I'm glad those of you have gone through hip and knee replacements are doing well.
I finally got the Sling out and rode 200 miles including a ferry to take it to my brother on the north edge of the Olympic Peninsula. I've been here 3 summers and have hardly put any miles on it. This area is too hot for me and really nowhere to ride much without dealing with a lot of traffic and tourists. Knowing him he will detail it, fix anything that needs it - like replace the tail pipe I lost. It's mine whenever I go over there, and I didn't sell it - not ready for that.
Very good news, Tom!
Thanks for posting photos for those of us who couldn't be there! Happy to see so many are home safely. Prayers for all!
VV11B40 dang - so sorry but glad you walked away!
Sorry to see not so good news for some, but those that are going to be there, have fun and ride safe!
Leah , I was a full time RVer so I had to trailer my Sling and crossed the country several times. Yes, I used a cover most of the time - go over newly surfaced road and you will find tar chips in/on the Sling. As EJ said, only some rub on the roll bars. If it rains or hails, cover helps. The first year I went without the cover and had too many people paying more attention to the Sling than the road. I had a SlingThing trailer.
Devastating news! Bill and Angie, you are in my prayers. Hugs!
11 degrees and going lower in the next few days. One snowfall of 18 inches plus another inch here and there with more to come. Definitely a white Christmas here.
Thank you, Kind Sir! How I would love to go cross country a 5th time!
Nemesis1701 - Hi, Al!
Bill Martin lady here in town (Leavenworth, WA) was surprised at her house by a bear when she let her dog out one morning. Her injuries weren't serious, but she punched the bear in the nose to get rid of her. Strange thing is bear and cubs had been seen in neighborhood all summer so why not be more cautious?
I'm still waiting for riding season! Cool, wet spring, hotter than heck summer and now wildfire smoke! The few good days I was out of the country and then came home with Covid!
FunCycle, I have a friend who has 'long covid' and after 9 months finally doing better. Hoping you recover sooner rather than later!
I've been so envious of your rides, but we finally got a couple days relief from the heat! At least no humidity here. 69 degrees at higher altitude felt terrific. Have a couple favorite scenic rides along the Icicle and Wenatchee Rivers. Not a lot of curves, but at least no one in front of me when I got to them! Always fun to drive this tourist town and watch people.
Are you doing to Slingshot riding?
I wish! First we had a very wet, cool start to summer. Things finally changed earlier this month and I was out of the country. Got one short day in after Covid before temps skyrocketed! Supposed to be back down to 80s and 90s starting tomorrow.
