Hey miss you guys I'm still alive just busier than I want to be. Hope everyone is doing well, I'm sure I have a lot of catching up to do when I see you all at SSITS '19 ... I rode mine to a Super Bowl party yesterday since it was unusually warm I couldn't resist. 😎

we are definitely looking forward to seeing you guys as well... for a while we were wondering how we were going to fit the trip in but we finally said screw it the unfinished projects will be there when we get back

Been busier than a pole dancer during Future Farmers of America convention week

We have been making constant improvements to the 100 year old building all while both maintaining our other full time jobs but we are ready and need this reunion so bring it on we can't wait to see everyone ... and most of all safe travels !!

Sorry I've been a stranger for so long guys, Kim and I have been passing each other coming and going (guess that's better than the hallway sex of past marriages)
-
I like the way you are thinking my old friend...

WOW brings back bad memories I had 11 feet of water in my home back in 1997 it's not fun at all. Hope you are riding it out ok Danna and anyone else in affected area. And bless you for staying.

WTF you been bro!!! I know your busy with the bar, car projects, moonshine, etc but ya gotta check in with us more often!!! We miss ya
I know I miss you guys as well. Hell I "see" your lovely wife on facebook more than I "see" you here. I have been promoting the bar quite a bit lately FB is definitely a useful tool for that. It seems like the more time I spend on this forum the more I want to take the Sling out on the weekends and I truly have more pressing issues at the moment with the bar remodeling and all. But yeah I still gotta get caught up every once in a while with what you guys are into. Glad to see you are doing well.

Well I did it,I took on another project I didn't have any business taking on... Since we are putting faces with screen names that's me on the right. I am the proud new owner of this '53 Sunbeam Talbot 90 MKIIA DHC. Obviously the one on the rollback is the one I bought, the ice blue one is actually a '54 Sunbeam Alpine which was a model Sunbeam produced 1580 of between '54 and '55. The Alpine design was copied from a modified '52 Talbot DHC a british racing team built back in the glory days of european road rallies.Much like our beloved Slingshots the '54 Alpine was a "true" two seat convertible with no side windows or top.

Damn I feel terrible seeing all of these Happy Birthday wishes a week late....
Thanks everyone soooo much !!!
As many of you know I was born on my late father's birthday and this was the first birthday I have had to celebrate without him...
Needless to say it was not an easy day for me, I tried to work my 8 hour shift at the factory but I had a really hard time concentrating on my job. Finally after 4 hours I said the hell with it and took a half day vacation. Luckily a friend of mine owns a bar a couple miles from my house and they have a bike night every Thursday. So Kim and I got the "Moonshine Express" out got a little wind in our hair and I got my drink on. The day started out very rough but ended on a very good note.
DISCLAIMER: Kim had to drive us home
So yes I did have a Happy Birthday and thanks for not forgetting about a guy that hasn't been around much and I promise I will try to check in on you guys a little more often. Kim and I have been so busy trying to manage all of the tasks at hand I'm not sure how much longer we will both be able to work full time jobs.
I just might have to quit mine ... -
It could probably hold more manure than mulch.

If I can get off work count me in ! And thanks again for that supercharged test drive @av8ingtom

Good read... thanks for the heads up guys.
Of course I don't think I have anything to worry about, My dealer said they would call me when my replacement swingarm comes in... still waiting on that call ! -

Its an Autocycle - different animal maybe?
Oh trust me I'm still working on her... I'm thinking of going the "stereo so loud she can't hear the spooling turbo or the blow off valve" route !
-
Have you talked her into the Super Charger yet?
Hell I'm still trying to talk her into the "gently used" turbo I've had setting around for almost a year... It's not an easy sell when your co-pilot makes a living teaching motorcycle accident victims with brain injuries how to walk and talk again.

A big thanks goes out to @av8ingtom for allowing myself and @Twisted affliction an opportunity to show our women what it feels like to be in the passenger seat of a bad azz supersharged sling. Kim will not soon forget the memory !
