If you see a 6'7" white guy with a bad haircut and a little white Jewish guy there say hello... that's my boss

Don't feel too bad for me... Here in Colorado we get snow than it's back into the 70's. Gonna be great leaf blowing weather on Saturday and riding weather on Sunday.
Woke up to this.
I have been a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association for 20+ years and pay $29 a year for roadside assistance. It covers any vehicle I am in and will cover towing to the nearest dealership of home (whichever is closer.) Luckily I have never had to use it for the slingshot, but used it with my Harley a few times. Even if you have to leave it at the dealership and go find a hotel, it's great piece of mind knowing they have a network of tow companies who know how to tow a motorcycle or unique vehicle and have always sent the right truck for the job. Having a high limit credit card helps too.
Enjoyed getting to visit with you and Laura in Eureka Springs. Hope you got a little ridding in.
it was great to meet you as well and thank you for the steak dinner (sure beats parking lot pizza) and for the silver dollar.
Made it home in just over 12 hours. Sun came out 1/2 way across Kansas and roasted us nicely. Did 2,024 miles garage to garage so that certainly counts as a great excursion.
We drove ours from Eureka Springs Arkansas to Colorado. It was a good day.
I just checked the weather for our trip back home, it looks like we will set a world record for didstance driving in the rain (1,300 miles)
Stay safe. I just checked our 850 miles back to Denver and it actually looks pretty clear once we make it to Kansas.
Looks like the majority of the rain has moved northeast of Eureka. Might be able to ride some this afternoon. Of course 59 degrees is a far cry from the 97 it was when we rolled into town on Wednesday.
Hasn’t stopped raining in about 6 hours. Got a few hours of sun between the morning storm and lunch. We spent the afternoon on the porch of our rental watching the cars go by. Didn’t see any slings. Gonna rain gear up and go find dinner at some point and looks like tomorrow is already a washout. Heading back to Denver Sunday morning rain or shine.
Really should consider investing in a trailer.
We did meet @EjFord for the first time in Eureka Springs, and he gave me this beautiful coin. What a true gentleman he is., it was such a pleasure to see him in person.
We also had the honor of meeting @EjFord and he treated Laura and me to a steak dinner and great conversation. As well has what instantly has become a cherished coin. I’m honored to have met him finally.
We almost headed west this morning but the wife convinced me to stay. Got 1/2 way around Bever lake when the sky opened up. Looks like we will be hunkered down in our room till Sunday morning.
Me too bro - there’s always next year Not sure they can have as much fun without us
the bride and I are drinking bourbon at our B&B and there WILL be nudity shortly... so even without you the important stuff is happening. Miss you here but we drove 14 hours in 97 degree sun so we will do our best to represent.
Laura and I made it in about 2. Got checked in with ivor than headed over to our B&B for naps. It’s crazy hot here. Gonna head over to the BW about 6 for the meet and greet.
Got new meat for the trip. Went with a 285 continental extreme contact. Night and day difference.
She looks miserable. I'd be smiling ear to ear.
@Jonathan Thompson, you’re driving in on two days?
Yes... we will leave on Tuesday morning and drive until the afternoon storms. Than ride in on Wednesday We got a room at the Heartstone Inn Wednesday till Sunday.
