I like Mitch’s wing so that’s what I’m going to install... just need to find something similar as the place he bought his, no longer has them.
Did you call them or look on line?
Last time I talk to them the SS aftermarket parts were not all listed but if you called they could get them. -

If you're going to install Mitch's wing, why bother finding him a replacement?

getting anxious as time draws close. I cant wait to meet everyone and see everyone's slingshots. My wife said yesterday that she didn't really think there was too many things that can be modified on the slingshot. She gave me the thumbs up to do whatever I wanted because it was my own toy. I bought my roof and now am looking at maybe the spoiler. anyone with ideas? good or bad idea for a spoiler? which model or design to get?
The 2 main things to consider is 1st - Material. There are ABS but most would recommend carbon fiber. The 2nd thing to consider is the way you want it mounted. Some have it connected to the roll hoops, but some (me) have it mounted thru the rear deck. Many options you will soon see.

I prefer mounting to the rear deck. My kit came with carbon fiber braces that attached to the Aluminum sub frame under the rear deck. Very solid mount.

"Mitch's" wing, is that the gentleman's name? is there a picture so I can see it? I am trying to first see if it is worth installing? actual value or just aesthetics. . . . . . I know the rear gets pretty squirrelly for the most part so I just want to make sure this will help and isn't just for looks. although they do look pretty friggin cool. lol

Most people install LED lighting on their Slingshot - Mitch likes old school incandescent lighting (likes old school flip phones too). Might want to get a longer cord, Bro... -

Can we get a close-up of the baseball cards in the front wheel spokes?

Oh! By the way, it does help him go any faster.

But it blocks the view of your ugly mug in my rear view mirror

Mitch is not joking. He also uses that old bicycle generator to charge his flip phone.

Ok I am in a little bit of a dilemma here and want some opinions. I bought the slingshade roof from Polaris and am having my slingshot serviced Saturday. The roof is already at the store for pickup and I asked them how much it would cost to have them install it versus me doing it myself. They are quoting me $308 dollars JUST TO INSTALL this thing. Now I am not the best mechanic, but damn!!!! Should I install it myself? think it would be too difficult to do alone? or should I go ahead and fork out the $308 and let them do it?
-
For $308 I can buy a lot of steaks. Considering that it is mostly a bolt on affair, get a partner and DIY.

that is what I am trying to verify, for the first and foremost, there are zero holes to drill, its just bolt together. I have watched a few youtube videos and have not seen 1 that drilled anything.
