Got some more milling eye candy for your soul!

Nice high res on that slow motion! I use that exact type of cutter in a 4" face mill, also the end mill along with high helix ones. We have a few smaller roughing end mills that are inserted, but most of those are used in the metal shop end. I've been running the machines most of this week, filling in for a guy that's on vacation. I do enjoy it.

25+ years ago I did a good amount of photography at Road America - the ex-father-in-law had been a corner man for years and got me into the Indy car races at Road America. Hell, I was even the first man on the scene when Walter Payton crashed his Trans Am - but thats a story for another day
Anyway, i can remember to this day, the old man getting his med kit ready and looking at me as i grabbed my tripod and camera .... now, Ross, while you'll want to be on the outside of the corner - only take pictures there if you wanna die or be in a wheelchair for life. I figured it out but looks like that wisdom missed a fellow in Michigan ..... but the car didn't

If he wanted a good spot there, maybe he should have positioned himself and his camera behind that tree to his right. At least he would have had some protection.
