Anita, Terry and I greatly enjoyed our conversation with you, as brief as it was. It was a wicked nice event up there for sure. I just wish we could have stayed Saturday night for the social gathering, since we missed the one on Wednesday. Maybe next time!! It would have given us the opportunity to meet some more folks, although we met a bunch. Our ride on Friday started out as a debacle. We were in the second group, and 4 of us were left behind at 2 left turns at red lights. After we got held up there, we were behind a cement truck and 3 tractor trailer trucks on a single lane. No way to get past them. It was only a group of 12, maybe 14 tops. How do you not wait if you're leading this ride?? Ridiculous!! I must give a shout out to @Philwoods , he didn't like the fact that the leader didn't pull over to wait for us, so he decided to turn around and come back, hoping to meet us. We never did meet, since we weren't on the same route. So he just went back to the hotel to spend more money!! Lol!! Anyway, I'd like to thank Eddie & Norma, and Greg for staying with me and Terry when I decided to do our own thing, since we had no idea where the group was. The ride we had was amazing, and the restaurant we stopped at was just as good!! It turned out to be a wonderful ride!!

I've done a few rides with a Solstice group and the front and rear persons have a walkie talkie which they stay in contact should the group get cut off. The tail guy usually knows the route as well.

Indeed there will be @roadog1aj . Scheduling conflicts suck. You have a month with nothing great planned and the next month you have too many great things you must choose from. Such is life.

Wow ! Looks like fun was had by all, we missed a good one. Thanks for all the pics so we all could enjoy a little piece of it.

Hotshoe and I made it home tonight after a stop at Niagra Falls yesterday. We had such a great time meeting and hanging out with a awesome bunch of people. Rick, Di, Dean, Cynthia, Anita, Adam, and Scott you guys rock!! Anita you are an inspiration, Adam you are one lucky s.o.b. and I am very happy for you lol Thank you all for a great time.

Glad you two made it home my friend!!! Knowing Scott, he'd be more than happy to come out and clean your wheels.....as long as he can drive my Sling to get there!!!!!!!

My SS is making my retirement more attractive by the moment.....800 more days to go....ahhhhhhh!

@BlackDeath....It's a Dust deflector wing I created and posted on this thread:

Tried to give it a snappy name ......but basically it helps break up the dead air pocket at the back of the Sling. If nothing else, it at least breaks up the boring black "Tub" in the rear!!
By the way....I heard you had made it to the event, but I didn't get a chance to meet up with you.....maybe next time!!
