I may have no switch. Just two bare wires and a label that say twist to engage!
How to install a line lock on your front brakes

I think i like messing with Kenny and Shack more than I like eating. And I reallly like eating.

you need to put a separate lock on each wheel. That way you can use it in super cool doughnuts.

Oh my god... I thought i was a kid..... Someone here has topped me...
And I will say the dual line lock idea is a dang good one... Can you imagine what it would look like if you could actually get that setup to work....

Kick butt! You could get a double pole switch and in the middle of that crazy doughnut flip the switch and reverse the doughnut! !!
-
I don't know.......I'm a little iffy about this particular "How To" @rabtech........I've yet to see one drop of blood or smashed digit!!!! Almost all of your "Authentic" "How To's" have included the proper amount of self mutilation to give it the stamp of approval we all watch for!!! Please take one for the team and go out right now, drive a screwdriver under one of your fingernails, or simply smash a digit with a hammer......it's just the right thing to do if you want all your peeps to take this seriously.....

Ok. There is good news and bad news at this point.
The bad news: Even with a Mighty Vac brake line vacuum pump it has taken me nearly 2 hours to bleed the whole system front and back.
The good news: I do have a rock solid brake pedal now. I have solid fluid thru every line. It was an absolute pain in the butt.
I will hold off on the blue 2-step box for now. You all have waited a while for me to install this line lock. I would have to ask that yall let me do the video in the morning. I am worn out. I have been leaning over the tires and squeezing that dang Mighty Vac pump till my arms and hands are shaking.
Like I said ,,, I'm done with the line lock install. I just have to put the tires on and let it off the lift.
And I didn't expect to have a leak. But being realistic I thought I might have one. Even stomping on the brake pedal everything is dry as a desert.

I tried to use a vacume pump to bleed my brakes when I powder coated the calipers. I finally gave up. I just put a tube on the bleeder valve and opened it and let it sit. Took about 15min a wheel until fluid ran out. When all three were done, I went to the two person, pump the brakes method and it worked fine. If you do it this way, keep checking the reservoir to make sure it doesn't run dry.
-
Yea. Normally I can just pull the fluid right thru. But yesterday it was a slow go. I finally pulled enough thru that my pedal came back. I am going to do the same as u and get my lovely wife to pump the brake pedal while I bleed them the rest of the way.

I'm curious. With the linelock set, will you be able to wag it's tail turning the steering wheel back and forth?

Don't know. It would make sense that the tail would drift toward the opposite turn of the steering. -
That would be cool for parades. They don't like us doing doughnuts for safety reasons, but a wagging tail would give the crowd something to see.

I just figured out the BEST use ever for a line lock!!!! You can set the line lock and tighten your front lugs while the SS is up on the lift!!!! It keeps the wheels locked in place perfectly!!
-
It works as planned. I just did a quick burnout in front of my house. It does cause the break pressure light to come on but it goes back out as soon as you flip the key off and on. So no biggie. It will hold the SS dead in it tracks. It won't even flinch at all when you drop the clutch.

How much I'm parts total to your best guesstimate? Also got links to parts ordered?
Did you ever make the line lock burn out video?
-
It works real good if you mash the brakes hard then flip the switch. If you don't and have stock calipers it will push you slowly forward. HOWEVER>>>>>> it wont anymore with the Wilwood big brake kit I have. It just sits in place and you can dig a hole in the asphalt...
Someone snapped a picture of me using it in Maggie Valley in the parking lot. I started the burnout with it and then flipped it off and took off forward. It was a good little tire smoker....
