I'm thinking About coming off my Stock Muffler with a ""Y"" and running Vance & Hines mufflers Down both Sides of my Sling. My Question is will it affect with my Timing or Engine Operation ? .I don"t really want to mess with Manifold or Factory muffler & etc. i'm only doing it for Heat in Cockpit and looks! Thanks

Get rid of the CAT and you will get rid of most of the heat. You can do anything with the exhaust and "WILL NOT" have to retune the ECU

There is a CAT in the stock muffler as well as the one in the down tube. Use an aftermarket muffler and it really opens it up.

Or break up and remove the innards of the cats. A much cheaper option!!! At least it worked for me. But now I have Welter Duals - love’em.

……….Im currently running a 1320 V2 header and searching for the right exhaust for myself BUT im curious to know have you gone to the Vance & Hines exhaust yet.....Have em on my Harley and curious to know about the sound on a Slingshot...
