@FunCycle I feel terrible about not having you there. I was so excited about picking you up and riding this week. We will find a nice weekend soon and I'll meet you up at ddm.
I'm going to have to get Lewis a sweater of mine to wear. However if he gets to cold he curl up in the slingshots floorboard. It stays a balmy 160 degrees.
Headed that way!
Safe travels and have a great visit.

@KayTwo Really hate to miss the ride but I can't push the Sling as fast as the rest of you drive. Dogs has a harness for your led switches, if you haven't wired them in yet.
I haven't done anything since last you were here, no worries. I'm nowhere near as gifted as you are.
I don't know that we'll be pushing too hard this weekend, given the temperatures and such. Wish you both were going to,be there.
Looking like I'll be on the road in the next 30 minutes or so.... NLT 5:15, I'm thinking. 3 hr drive.
I will be leaving around 6 probably. And getting there around midnight. Just long enough to lay down and sleep a few hours before the waffles.
I’m here stumbling round wally world.
I'm still playing the game "round up my cold weather gear".
I have plenty of room for sure.
Shit, there's almost enough room left in there for all of your cold weather gear, without having to put any in the truck.
Well, 3 Slings are in for the night. Guess we'll have 4 by midnight. Waffles at 0800.
BTW, Bobby, don't mention Lewis when you check in. Sign says no pets.
Course, it says "no guns," too, but you know what they can do with that sign....
This trailer pulls like its literally part of the truck. It's smooth as butter with the weight distribution hitch. I only have it on the 2nd chain link. And the trailer and truck are perfect in height. The truck has about 1/2" drop and that makes it completely level.
Lewis is sleepy. He has been eating beef sticks and some kind of cow ears. He has made a mess on my console...
I may stop and sleep for a couple hours around Chattanooga . I'll let yall know as I get closer.

When we go to Waffle King in the morning are we gone for the day or are we coming back to the room before we continue our ride?
Inquiring minds want to know?
I will need to drive to breakfast and park in the side parking lot with my trailer still hooked up. Because I leave Lewis in the truck with it idling while I go in and eat. He doesn't mind how long I take as long as I bring him a sausage biscuit when I come out.
so yes I'm coming back to room after I eat. And it is going to be 27 degrees. . I may leave a little early and go eat just so I can get done and run back and unload and put my heavier hoodie and face mask on.. I need to make a walmart stop also tonight to get some gloves.

Lewis is my "emotional support" service dog... You don't even have to ask. Of course I'm not going to show him off and walk him through the parking lot in front of the owner.
