Now Available R-Shot PASSENGERS SIDE EZ - Out Grab Handle

Interesting. Looks like the passenger side goes vertical while the driver's side goes horizontal.

So, I got a chance to sit in @'lrobbi''s ride at Booze & Blues a couple weeks ago and try the driver's side EZ-Out. I have long legs and the coordination of a baby moose on ice, so I figured I'd try it out first before I considered buying it.

For starters, I have a bad habit of pulling on the steering wheel. I know I need to stop, but I'm not sure I can at this point.

I found the movement to get to the EZ-Out handle awkward, but that's because it was new to me and it wasn't a natural movement. Once I tried it a few times, I could definitely see where the move could be natural with practice.

I did not hit my leg on it, as I thought I might.

I *was* able to generate enough force to pull myself up and out of the seat, although I still used the steering wheel to steady myself. Force of habit that I need to break.

I believe it would be a lot harder, or at least require much more practice, to use this pull handle with the MeanSling top, due to the angle that I have to twist my bowling ball head on my scrawny neck to get out of the Sling without hitting myself on the frame of the top. If I get a chance to test that, I will report back.

SOLID construction and connection. I don't think there's anyone who can fit into a Slingshot who could break this puppy off just by using it as designed.

Bottom line, I think it's a useful tool, and a definite advantage (with practice) for those who do not have a solid top to pull themselves up with.
