Be aware that if you raise the height of the rear shock, you loosen the belt tension. Conversely if you lower the height of the rear shock, you tighten the belt tension.

Why would you want to raise the height. Just curious
Currently (and with stock shock) I scrape when pulling into my driveway... And it doesn't look level front to back, so I was thinking I could raise the front to make it look more level and correct the driveway apron rub all at the same time.index.jpeg
And maybe go for the Gasser look... LOL -
Your handling at highway speeds would suffer for sure.
When I got my GT shocks the first thing Henry said was to lower it at least an inch on front if I want to improve handling even further.
Apparently the sling was designed to run about 2 inches lower on front but during final certification they were forced to raise it to meet headlights guidelines. -
I have to agree handling will definitely be impacted
Time to put in a new driveway!

Question on the height adjustment...
What do I need to be concerned with if I decide to raise my SS an inch or so with the adjustable coil-overs? I've never done an alignment and she has always run true with no tire wear.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Raising will affect suspension alignment in ways you'd likely want to re-align in order to correct. Lowering is not so bad in this regard, in that it increases negative camber and increases toe-in, both of which enhance handling. Raising conversely performs the opposite functions, which lead to angles that aren't well-suited. Raising only in the front also negatively impacts fuel mileage via additional wind resistance under the machine.
If you do raise, I suggest you do it equally front and rear, re-align the front, and re-adjust belt tension in the rear.

The other downside to raising the rear is the shock tops out more often. Mine makes a loud bang every time it happens.

You are referring to full extension on rebound?

That's what it seems like. The problem went away when I lowered the backend

I'm still interested in a set of these shocks.
Someone on this forum mentioned that he had another set of popular aftermarket shocks, and swapped them out for these. The review was quite flattering, noting that he could tell the difference immediately!!
However, there has been some rumblings of questionable customer service with getting the product in a timely manner.
@Bill from Hahn RaceCraft , can you comment here on this? It would be great to get word direct from you on delivery times at this juncture.
Thanks! Hope all is well with you!! -
I can speak for myself that I like the QA-1's. I am running a the 3 setting now and that gives you a soft ride. I ran at the 5 and 6 setting for a while around town and it is a little hard ride. I ordered back at christmas when he did the sale and received them in about 2 or 3 weeks. Well satisfied so far, I will know more when I get back up to the twisty roads and move them to a stiffer setting

Love mine. Got them put on in Maggie Valley last year. Keep the setting at 6. I like a stiffer ride. Ok Tripod. I just realized what I wrote.

We had ours installed at Booze and Blues by Bill himself! Took about 30 seconds!!!!!! Best money I have ever invested in the Sling, so far. My wife loves them...but I'll let her tell you how she REALLY feels about them!!!!
Currently, I have the front set on 3 and the rear set on 5. Smooth ride, indeed!!!! -
Hey man, I wasn't dissin' these shocks, or any vendor or person for that matter. It was out there, what I said. Just wanted clarification. Please, take no offense at my post. It surely was not meant that way.

The only reason it only took him 30 seconds is because he refused to let you hold a wrench....

I understand that @Bill Hahn has been running a video loop of some of us in his shop in Daytona all of this week.
