Why?
Is there more to share?
OEM parts or something from Autozone?
Normal wear and tear?
Could be more info here for all of us...
Hope it was a productive weekend.

That’s the ball joint right?

.......he heard a clicking noise (Bad Bushing) ........and got new OEM bushings himself for the lower & upper arms on both sides.......it was a productive day , in that I gain some more knowledge about the slingshot.....hardest part was pressing out & pressing in the new bushing BUT then again that's what the pressing machine is for....

part # 8 & 17

@MADDMOE might need to talk to you. I have a clicking sound on the passenger side. The dealer could not figure it out.
....do you know if they lifted your slingshot off of the ground and Try to pull on the wheel from the top & bottom to see if there was any play in the bushings.....
-
I have already had one of mine replaced at around 60,000 miles

.....my friend had only one side with the clicking noise but he order bushings for both sides ......if one side goes bad might as well change both sides.....

One bushing is all I can tell you, I would have to look up the paper work from last year to be sure what they replaced. It had too much free play, that much I do remember and I had to pay shipping to get it the next day. This was along with the repairs for my little cruise down the ditch last year.

do you happen to know the part # for the replacement control arm bushings? I can't find them

The parts they are replacing in this thread are actually the ball joints and not the bushings you are needing. As far as I know polaris does not sell the bushings. They only sell the complete control arm assembly.

Ours broke yesterday while getting off the interstate in Waynesville. We’re on vacation in Maggie for the slingshot rally. Hopefully my husband can get some tools together and hopefully get it fixed

[/quote]If you need tools come by the ZZPerformance tent. You can use anything I have. I’ll have whatever you need to fix it minus the part itself.
