It could reset after a few drive cycles... or maybe by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few seconds...

I wonder if the sensors could still screw things up mileage wise without throwing a code? Just from being partially dirty..
Ok after 30 miles code is gone, light is off and mpg is still hitting 28, which has me in shock. I never get over 23 on highway. cant wait to see what she does at 90mph. If I get to go to ES I will find out.
I was getting 34 mpg on a 1,500 mile trip average before I made some changes. Now it is 28 mpg. Actual with the pencil. My trips from home usually average around 1,500- 1,600 miles with around 700 miles on the interstate at around 85 mph. That is how I check my gas mileage. If you cannot buy the gas then you need to park it.

You are probably right.
I get a consistent 24 on the highway with cruise at 80-85 and supercharger humming.
