Never thought about that! But then again it's fun to hunt for them. Hoping to do the local 4th of July parade this year if it's going to happen. E-bay may come in handy then. Will keep in mind!
Thanks!

CRS has set in --- did not remember sending you one.... Of course everyone knows I've got my name on all my shirts (work & play) I would surely forget it if it was not there.
I can't tell you how many times I walk into the garage and forget what I went in there for. Sometimes my wife catches me when that happens and says, I caught you looking at your toys. I smile and say yes!
Walmart, Myers, and others $.96

Totally normal & there’s science behind that. Here’s an article about it...

Interesting article. What I've noticed is that when I walk into a room and can't remember why I'm there (often the garage but it can be any room), I am usually in the vicinity of what I'm looking for even though I have no idea what it is. So I just look nearby until I see it or remember, which is usually when I see it.
Also, the talk about doorways reminds me of my corporate Controller days and, specifically, one job I had with a failing computer manufacturer in the early 80's. It was so difficult and all-consuming that I devised a mental trick for myself at the end of each day. When I walked out of my office at the end of each day I told myself that the doorway would wipe my hard drive (brain) clean and I would have no memory of the day until I passed through it the other way in the morning. That way I didn't take my problems home and burden my wife with them. I would actually visualize it and it worked.

I like the 'idea' of leaving work at the office --- my office is across the hall from the bedroom.

So much for not bringing your work home.

So you can have office sex pretty easily then...
Funny seeing this thread today - I just received this with my last Amazon order...
just got this for Christmas! Was the only thing I asked for.
You know the red ones are faster!
Mrs. Jeep got me a new Slingshot for Christmas. Looks like this years Matchbox is grey and black with more details like hood stripes and badging and fast red wheels.

I got 2 of those to give to my close friend and Brother Chad (he's on here.... Detective6811). His looks like this, and I felt that he needed one for himself, and one for his 2 year old grandson (when the time comes).

I'm always on the lookout. Hard to find in this area. EjFord sent me a red one a few back. Then I found two blue ones this year. I'll keep an eye out. The matchbox racks have been empty for months. On the hunt again!
I have found a few over time and keep a couple in the Slingshot to give out to 'youngsters' who have their picture taken in my Slingshot. Have found any for a while.
I now have all 3: 2019 Red, 2020 Blue, and 2021 Black. But can't lie: I had to buy the Blue and Black ones from a Hot Wheels dealer who shows up at the car shows ($4 ea). I have never found them no matter how many times I look at Walmart, Target, or HEB. Only time I found them was the Tour De Walmart when I found 20+ in 1 day
I bought 10 red ones for the Christmas tree
