I was thinking about purchasing a Sena half helmet with the built in Bluetooth so I can talk with other riders. Has anyone had experience with this helmet, good or bad?

I have one and was really surprised at how well I could hear everything. I don't have a stereo in my sling so I use it to stream music from my phone, and phone functions. My wife rides her own bike so we use it for bike to bike as she has Sena 10r in her helmet. I have a Sena 10r in a 3/4 helmet also but can really hear my music better from the Cavalry helmet. I hope this helps any other questions feel free to ask.

Make sure the ear flaps are snug or you will likely get a lot of wind noise. I run a Sena SMH-10 in an open face Bell helmet and it has good hearability communicating with my riding buddy. My helmet has deep ear holes and I found that a pad attached behind the speakers to bring them close to my ears helped. We tried the Sena 20?, I believe it was, which is supposed to be a better unit but found that not the case and sent it back.
