Any reason I can’t charge my battery thru one of the 12 v plugs? Saw a video doing this with solar charger so assume I can with a normal trickle charger? Did a search but couldn’t seem to find any relevant threads. Thanks

You can use a low amp maintainer through the port between the seats, it goes directly to the battery. The one in the glove box is only active when the key is on.

I made a long pigtail with a "port plug" attached to my charger/maintainer. When I pull the Sling into the garage I plug it in (port between the seats) to the wall mounted charger to maintain the battery. The system works well!!
