HID vs Canadian Conversion

Little did I know that installing the Canadian Conversion would be such a PITA. Followed the directions per SlingMods. Got everything apart and started the new assembly.

1st - the headlight connectors were buried amount a bunch of wires.

2nd - all the wires had a cover over them.

3rd - after getting the headlight bracket out and mounting the new light, it would not fit into the space. There is a xformer for the HID occupying that space already and you can’t push the light back any further. Bending the bracket for the transformer will not provide enough space to allow clearance.

So, any suggestions? Or is it a hopeless cause?

The headlight wiring cover as well as the HID's and their offending ballast/bracket are aftermarket so you will have to relocate them to install the Canadian light kit ....
