The Story of Adam & Eve's Dog

Adam and Eve said, 'Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.'

And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves.

And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve

And it was a good animal and God was please.

And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail.

And Adam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.'

And God said, 'I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.

And Dog lived with Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved them.

And they were comforted.
And God was pleased.
And Dog was content and wagged his tail.

After a while, it came to pass that an angel came to the Lord and said, 'Lord, Adam and Eve have become filled with pride. They strut and preen like peacocks and they believe they are worthy of adoration. Dog has indeed taught them that they are loved, but perhaps too well.'

And God said, I will create for them a companion who will be with them and who will see them as they are. The companion will remind them of their limitations, so they will know that they are not always worthy of adoration.'

And God created CAT to be a companion to Adam and Eve.

And Cat would not obey them. And when Adam and Eve gazed into Cat's eyes, they were reminded that they were not the Supreme Beings.

And Adam and Eve learned humility.
And they were greatly improved.

And God was pleased..
And Dog was happy.

And the Cat . . .

I am leaving Nashville headed home. I think when I get there it will be time to take Lewis's splint off his leg. Since he is 6 months old he should be healed enough by now. He has had it on for 3 weeks. I can't wait to cut it off. He will probably be a lot happier than I am about getting it cut off.

Fingers crossed for Lewis that everything is healed enough for the splint (cast) to come off. Poor puppy has probably had enough of it.

Ill get Lewis's picture in just a little bit. He is doing just fine without the splint. I picked him up a car harness with the big carabiner latch for the Slingshot. All I like is the Doggles.... I will get them soon.

He will be styling and profiling in the SS this summer....

Just need some doggles for him and we are all set.

I am not convinced @KayTwo that the cat is completely playing along in this picture. I think the cat is worried about the dog using the chew toy improperly on him.....

Nope. Cat goes into the dog's bed looking to play. He sticks his head in her mouth,and then bats her face.

We have a cat. It ruled the house till little Lewis came along. Lewis keeps him on his toes.... When the cat is walking through the house Lewis goes on offense... He hunts the cat down and the next thing you hear is the doggie door fly open and the cat is gone!

Do drawings count?....Here's the quick background...Wifes Bday yesterday (12-20) I had kids make cards a few days prior. I heard them laughing and "GETTING ALLONG" while they were making cards so I just let it be..Well yesterday the kids wanted to give Mom her cards...Now I had yet to see them...Anyhow, My wife just breaks out cracking up..........

Apparently no parts go missing when my kids draw!!!!

I suspect the cat, is the one with that idear.
1) The cat is faster than the dog.
2) The cat has that toy, just within reach.
3) The dog looks unsuspecting.
4) The cat has the dog positiond just as he wants it.
5) The cat has already lured the dog into thinking he is safe.

We all know what the cat is totally ready to do next !!
