I was following a Harley the other day and clearly smelled raw gasoline fumes coming from ....I’m guessing his exhaust pipes...had to be running awfully rich....
Probably had aftermarket pipes with cat delete. Both of my Kawasaki’s had the same issue after I replaced the pipes.

Believe it or not a lot of Harleys are running rich on purpose to cool the engine down..
They also come with a feature from the factory, Its called parade mode, The rear cylinder will stop firing if it gets to hot at an idle or just above, The raw gas will cool it down a little...
