Sounds like the HTA is describing the truer forms of a motorcycle...
Referring to seat as a single bicycle seat for driver or banana seat for driver and passenger.
Stating sit straddle...
Referencing no more than 4 seating positions as in VW trikes with seat for driver and rear bench for three riders.
And they removed the possibility of installing roll cages and roofs on motorcycles... sorry BigDog.
Antiquated laws in need of updating because newer modes of transportation and recreation are happening.
As for backup cameras... it won't make an operator of a vehicle a better driver. But, law makers think it will. A distracted driver will still miss what is going on around them. And it comes out of our pockets whether we want it or not.
