I liked the looks of some of the front grilles that came out but couldn't justify the pricing for 2 small fiberglass parts. Took a shot at making my own out of a 3' x 3' small hole aluminum sheet I bought from home depot for 30 bucks. Here's my first attempt using 20% of that sheet. Not really sure if I like the look or not vs the Underground Audio ones.

Have to say that looks pretty darn good.

You gonna put LEDs in the gun ports that look like they are firing? Just a thought...Or install real 30 cals. Wonder if they would be considered concealed carry...

I like it if you can maybe angle them to the outside

Wonder what it would look like with a DRL running up and down the outside edge
-
They DO have blinking LEDs in the guns...Yup, agree that the outside needs something (What's a DRL?). It doesn't show in the pics but I did bend the aluminum to the outside for both looks and strength but only about an inch. It probably needs to go further.

DRL = Daytime Running Lights

Daytime running lights!, thx, not a bad idea

I'm thinking you need to bring the bottom of the mesh out to the end of the spoiler. Is that possible. I know sometimes it is easy to look at a picture and come up with all kinds of idea. But in the real world it sucks to do that. And when you do try it it might look like crap.
Shoot some side front picks.

Here's a side view...I was originally thinking of extending that but regardless of where I cut it off I think it will still have an incomplete look to it. Given the DRL suggestion I ordered some one foot amber strips and I'm now thinking of cutting the side portion of the grille back to the 10mm width of the LED strip so that the strip would be the side edge.

Trimmed back the bent edge and did the daytime running lights as suggested which gives it a more professional edge.

The lights on the bottom spoiler are 27 inches long for each side.
