Unless I missed it somewhere, I haven't heard you say how she made out with her surgery today. Sure hope all went well as we've been pulling for her all day

Good Morning all. Georgia's surgery was Thursday am. 2.5 hr with 3 hr in post op.
Doctor says all went very well. As normal, she was very "out of it" and uncomfortable in the afternoon and evening. She is hoping to be home on Saturday afternoon. This is the 9th time that she has been under the knife and usually heals from surgery very well, little older now probably heal a little slower.
Thanks for your prayer and well wishes.
I will check in later today ... -

I was started to wonder about the old saying that no news was good news. Glad to hear that's still the case. Hope she's resting well and comes home tomorrow

Thanks for taking the time to give us an update on Georgia!
Although we haven't had the honor of meeting her in person we know just by the way she has raised you she must be one special person. We are glad to hear that her surgery was a success and she is expected to come home soon. We are praying for her complete and speedy recovery.
OBTW: Shirl don't need any pointers on raising me, it's way too late! LOL

Great news about Georgia! Will continue to pray for her and wish for a speedy recovery.

Second day she always has a hard time with the pain meds...nurses were asking if
her state of mind was 'unstable'...putting up with me for 25 years probably should have said YES. The drugs during and after surgery do 'things' to her mind until we get some food in the meds out.
And of course---me >>> always my fault. Going to try to keep her in the hospital for 4 days...can't risk her falling at home. -

@EjFord yell if you need anything - we're just a few hours away
Could use a couple of people to swing paint brushes 8 hours a day 5 days a week.
Ross and Karianna --- thanks for the offer. -
Could use a couple of people to swing paint brushes 8 hours a day 5 days a week for free.
Fixed it for ya!
You'll get more offers to help if they know you won't be charging them for it.

Saturday evening update … Georgia still "full" of the drugs that make her lupi.. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Still lots of pain and discomfort. She would like to come home, but I have to have her strong enough to help me help her. Soon I hope.
