I need an oil change and now that I have turbo application, I figured I would ask the experts. What oil and viscosity are you running?
I plan to use the Mobil M1C-151 filter.

Can I use synthetic oil | Polaris Slingshot Forum, Post # 4.
Personally, I use Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage 5W30 because it rated well on RAT540s blog, but I am considering a heavier 5W40 oil for future oil changes. Based on the two threads above, a Full Synthetic 5W30 or 5W40 should meet our needs. As long as you use one of the name brands, you should be OK. If you want to be extra safe and for peace of mind, once you find a candidate oil, check how it's ranked on 540 RAT - Tech Facts, NOT Myths or http://www.bobistheoilguy.com. I prefer 540rat since I feel it's easier to find the oil ratings.

You're the man BKL! My forum search results were subpar. I am in new territory for me and just now being a turbo information sponge. Just a tad paranoid as well doesn't seem to be helping.
Healthy paranoia when dealing with a new subject can be a good thing. Better safe, than sorry. I'm still new to driving a vehicle w/an aftermarket turbo kit that doesn't have all of the built-in safety controls a factory system has as I only have a little over 4000 miles since I finished my install back in February.
I've also posted some links on driving turbo vehicles. If you haven't seen them, go here - Tips on turbos and driving
These are a couple that I like...
Mobile 1 Annual Protection 5w30
Valvoline VR1 10w30
Rotella T6 5w40
All are different for different reasons, but you will find that they all get very good reviews and will work well in a boosted Slingshot.
I just use the Mobil 1 5w30 at Walmart for about 23.00 for a 5 qt bottle. It has the Dexos Approved stamps on it. I change mine every 2500 miles or so....
Here are the pictures of my oil and filter.
I bought two jugs of the Mobil One (one for the slingshot and one for the Durango) before Maggie Valley then did the online rebate. Just received a $24 rebate check in the mail. Wahooo
