I just got my next project off the UPS truck. These are supposed to stop my Raptor from squatting when I hook my trailer to it. The raptor has really soft suspension due to it have 14" of travel and fox shocks. So I'm going to add these spring loaded bumpers to the leafs.

I've been running airbags on my F250 for several years. When I bought my 'new' '99 it had overloads with an add-a leaf. I thought it would be as good or better than my '95 with airbags. It wasn't. My 3,500+ lb. dry weight camper swayed badly so I put on airbags and puled off the overloads. Much better for a high center of gravity. If you're pulling heavy trailers either should work. Personally, I like the versatility and adjustability of the airbags.

When I pull the 47' race trailer with the 3500 I use the air bags. 45-50lbs keeps it sitting level but when I pull the 8.5 X 20 enclosed tag I let all the air out and then it is still a little to stiff. Some times I wish the factory suspension was a little softer.

@rabtech, drove here to Maggie from NW AR after installing those and the ride was great. I was afraid it would be rough.
