I ran a system similar to this on a Miata made by Jackson Racing. It was a good improvement over the stock intake.

Not sure which is funnier..the product.... or the comments .....
Even if this was a properly engineered sealed ram air system ... and it is so far from that its ...well..funny ... the slingshot can barely reach a speed where it would even show a fraction of a percent improvement ....
As far as it improving "cold air" to the filter ... the entire front end of the Slingshot is open with a "ram" intake already at the center lights ....
Sorry bud ...been working with MC ram air design and tuning for years and the placebo effect is strong with this one .....

Sort of like the 1990 ZX-11. The ram air didn't do too much until well into triple digits.
Well I did received the product, I tested and reviewed. Just a modification to my last review.
1. I still have a better kick from 3 gear to 4 gear.
2. My SS is not hesitate as bad as before from 4 gear to 5 gear.
3. After 2 month of testing, yes there is an improvement on mpg, but only at speeds of 53 to 57 mph. Keeping your SS at this speeds my mpg went from 21 to 28. .
Increasing this speeds will put me back at 23 and the faster you go the less you get. Only if you get your SS on a Dyno machine and update the computer this can improve.
