Welter duel exhaust installation manual

I ordered this end of last season....just opening the box now and there is no installation manual in there. Did anyone else get a manual?

I know there are videos....I’m trying to make sure all the parts are here and which way certain things go....don’t want to tear off the old one and have to wait 29 years to get a missing part...

I just opened the box 10 minutes ago....so I haven’t made any calls....I’m trying to figure out if they forget to put one in...or if they don’t provide one..

At least they saved a tree.....

One of my boxes of parts is marked 2016....I have a 2015.....that’s another potential issue I’m trying to clarify.

I selected 2015...

I just watched the installation video...they showed some springs but I didn’t see them installing them...looks like they shot the video under water...not very clear...

The slingmods video is much better....

Ok, I can’t get the exhaust pipes to come together close enough to get the bracket bolt on the “Y”pipe to go in the hole.....so tomorrow I’m going to take all the pieces out and measure the distance between the end of the front pipe and the hanger bolt....I don’t know if they are seating together all the way or if it’s the wrong year pipe and could be an inch too long....I might have to do some cutting....

The first pipe goes into the header pipe the whole way

The third pipe goes into the wrapped pipe the whole way

The third pipe goes into the “y” pipe 1 1/2” the “y” pipe flared end is only 2”. I don’t see how I can gain at least an inch.

Right now I’m looking at cutting my 1/2” off the header pipe and 1/2” off the wrapped pipe. That will still leave almost 2” left on each pipe.

Is the cat supposed to be this close to the motor mount?
It’s like a 16th of an inch clearance

ok. I finally got everything installed. Going to take it for a ride right after I hit send..

I did cut a half inch or so off two of the pipes......just saying...

WWWWOOOOOWWWW .....I just got a brand new 2015 SS....the CAI and the welter exhaust made this thing a rocket.....

Well worth the money.....

Now the bad news.....I need to upgrade my brakes.....

Ooo, that sucks...are you talking about the wrapped pipe or the next one back...
