Peaks of Otter Run (Sat, May 19th 2018, 8:00am - 8:00pm)

Okay, I mentioned doing a Peaks of Otter Run a week or so ago, but didn’t get the impression there was much interest. After this weekend at Slingshots Uncorked II, it seems there is more interest than I thought. No solid plans, routes or formality here, just looking to get a few folks together to ride. If you are available May 19th, and want to do a run, post up your participation status. We will solidify some details once we have an idea of group size and interest.

Crap!

Colette's friend is getting married that day, I explained that is her friend not mine and she would have more fun if I wasn't in the way but no go!

Hopefully I will become very ill the night before and the only cure will be an exotic herb found only in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I will offer to go get it myself so she doesn't have to miss the wedding.

We are a maybe. Still negotiating with the bride. And, if it is going to be a spirited ride, we are out. Bride won't do that kinda run.

But, a maybe is not a no.

Happy to anything for Rocky, but the question is, what has he ever done for me? Rocky? Defend yourself!

I'm back in Kentucky now. 30 degrees as I type this! Brrrrrrrrrr! I'm not much of a cold weather rider, so the slingshot is staying parked until the weather improves.

80 degrees? My 10 day forecast doesn't get me past low 60s. You that ain't that far away from me.

50s yesterday. Got seat time anyway. Work was driving me nuts. Seat time is therapy.

Okay all... don't hate me!!!

I just checked availability at the Peaks of Otter Lodge and they have nothing! for the 19th and 20th. So I am thinking we move this from Peaks of Otter to Tazwell, VA... Check the map out below

Move this to the next weekend (I know, it's Memorial Day weekend) or keep it all the same and just not stay at the Peaks of Otter Lodge.
