Has anyone on here had any success placing vinyl stickers on any of the black plastic pieces on the SS? I am looking at placing a couple Eagle, Globe & Anchors on the mudflap area, but not sure it would hold. @StickerDick would you be able to do something like this in white vinyl (reflective maybe)...about 6" in height? I would need 2 of them with the anchors facing each other. Cost?

I ended up sanding a portion of my panel and clear coat then repeat.

I have a couple large Tail of the Dragon decals on my front fenders.
they are stuck and no going anywhere, I just cleaned the fenders and wiped them down with alcohol, a little heat from a hairdryer helps. Good luck -
He lies! @Shatneyman has no fenders... Well, he does, but not those, they're badass!

old picture bud, but thank you for thinking my old fenders are badass

It's been there for two years no issues.

They hold on the black plastic ok. You just have to be much more diligent on prepping the surface and using heat.

Over a year on the Hood plastic

Prep with denatured alcohol then soapy water (Dawn works best) then apply with 70% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.

@D.W.Slusher, if it didn't have to have one reversed, then think about a 6 inch metal cast EGA from Amazon. Mount them to your mudflap with RTV adhesive. I did my combat unit last June and no problems staying on, they are cast bronze.

I think @StickerDick might be MIA.....can you do what I am looking for @mytoy ?

I was bored at work today and with all these vinyl ideas people are posting on here got the wheels in my head turning...Ordered a vinyl cuter to play with, should be here Friday. Will be playing with software over the weekend and see what I can come up with

What size do you need the image?
-
that works but the reflective is very aggressive adhesive should work fine

PM me the image I have some white reflective vinyl A question would you apply it to a smooth surface?

I made a sample, I think the small parts will not stick to the splash guard, but I did a test where I applied the decal on top of a yellow vinyl "should be transparent" then it should work

Just a question, would the Dupont primer work/help? I use the primer every time I am going to stick something to the black plastic. I did not use this with the Dragon stickers and just used alcohol and they would not stay on.
