This is a shot in the dark, but are there any VSOs on here? I have some questions about a VA Claim.

I'm active duty, but I work with several VSOs locally, including the VA, for my Reserve Sailors. Also, several of my Reservists work for the VA. If you don't get a better offer, PM me whatever is on your mind, and I will see if I can get some answers. Might take a few days, though.

@KayTwo you never cease to amaze me
My dad used to say that to me when I was in high school, usually as he was shaking his head in disbelief....

I have been helped by a very good VSO. His name is Dale Graham, he has a service center here in Oklahoma and helps people from all over the world. Here is some information that may help, copied from his news letter.
Contact us with any questions by email dale@dalekgrahamveteransfoundation.org. For telephone assistance, please call 405-550-8806 to listen to our options. For help with Surviving Spouse Benefits, Shirley can also be reached at 405-361-9322, or stop by any Tuesday or Thursday morning. Visit our website at dalekgrahamveteransfoundation.org. Semper Fi!
Give him a try, he got my 100% for me.

I just shot him an e-mail, so we will see. The VA is being @ssholes over verbiage for a claim I submitted and they want me to resubmit a new claim. I don’t want to lose my effective date on the claim since I’ve been dealing with it for over a year now. I’m already at 70%, but we will see what happens.

And she took on a second 'full' time job (teaching in the local school system)....@Kay Two being her first and their kids a part time jig....

If your already at 70% you might get the other 30% for "unemployability" if your rating is for PTSD or something that would hinder your ability to deal with the public or co workers.
