Weight, sand and gravel.............

    Out and about today, with our destination being to get some good breakfast while enjoying some pretty mountain scenery, we passed a truck scale, so just for grins and giggles we went back and weighed the Grasshopper:


    Front: ..............................1150 pounds
    Back: ................................600 pounds
    Total with a full fuel tank: .......1750 pounds


    ...........and we had to relearn a forgotten lesson where when going up into the mountains after several recent snow storms equals sand and gravel being left deposited down the center of the lane, kinda like riding on ball bearings at times!


    Overall another absolutely awesome ride! :)

    For clarification, when you say front and rear, do you mean you pulled the front wheels only on the scale and then the rear wheel only? Sorry in advance if that’s a stupid question. :/
