Does anyone here use prescription sunglasses/riding glasses, if so where did you get them ?
I have prescription Sunglasses. Wanted to get into a pair of Oakley wrap style glasses, however I also have astigmatism and the wrapped lens didn't work for my prescription.
Ended up getting into a pair of Ray-Ban Sunglasses

Hey man you coming to the wine festival in Clarksville?
I’m going to try. I need to get my angle drive fixed. Also did you still want an extra set of rims? I still have a set of base rims and brand new tires I need out of my garage. Trade you for a beer and a burger.

I am good on the rims @Designer could use a rear. I have 18" all around plus 1 spare and complete set of stock.
If you want to sell the rear give me a price I will ask him -
I wear prescription and these are what I use. Get all the bells and whistles and you can ride with a ripper windshield like God intended.

I wear polycarbonate prescription eyeglasses all of the time & they are transition lenses. However, when riding 2 or 3 wheels, I wear Cocoons over them for extra eye & wind protection. Their glasses are designed to go over prescription eyewear. You need to take measurements on your eyeglasses to ensure you get the right size to fit over them. I also have a 2nd pair of Cocoons in amber for night riding. Here’s a link to their website:

Most of the time I wear a Bell half helmet and it has a drop down sunshade. Didn't need night glasses because I came way too close to harvesting a deer twice so I try to be home way before dusk. With the SS I think I can extend my riding time so I will have to get some form of eye protection for night riding.

I used Cacoons for years. If properly sized they are great.

I am thinking I might just stick with the DeWalt's Polarized safety glasses. they come with neck cord and carring case and they exceed ANSI Z87.1+ standards and provide 99.9% UVA/UVB protection as such they seem to give as much protection as even the ballistic military glasses and at $20 at Home Depot are easy to replace if something happens

I've used Zenni Optical (www.zennioptical.com) for several years now. Prices are almost cheap enough to buy a different pair of glasses for each occasion. I prefer BiFocal Aviator style frames and they start as low as$6.95. Of course, prices go up if you want no-line progressive lenses, but I've gotten a nice pair of mirrored, prescription/polarized bifocals* for as low as around $70 - 100, depending on frame choice and other options. Haven't use them this year since my new vision insurance covered two pairs at Costco at a very reasonable cost.
* Had a young clerk (18-20?) ask me what the squares on the bottom of my glasses were for? Guess he'd never seen bifocals before. I have the bifocals on my mirrored sunglasses, too, so maybe that confused him. -
I was curious as to exactly what having the ANSI Z87.1+ certification actually means and I came across this testing video of ANSI rated verses normal glasses - WOW! is all I can say, really makes me glad my DeWalt glasses have passed these tests

I ended up grabbing these off of Ebay...got both tinted for day and clear for night. I got them for me and my girlfriend and we both love them. Chopper
They look nice, Ddo you know if they are ANSI Z87.1+ certified? I couldn't tell from your link

Probably not

Been using Tifosi Optical for awhile now. I really love the design and they are polycarbonate so they are shatterproof. If they aren't hardcore enough, they also offer a tactical series.

I like those and the tactical do have the ANSI certification

I wear WileyX sunglasses. I know that you can get some of them in Prescription strengths. Link to their climate control ones: Wiley X Climate Control Series
