just curious ..... has anyone noticed the Medical Clinic / Thrift Store ?
Strange combo
Yep, was undecided on a urinal bottle or a pair of Depends for the trip home... settled for the slightly used Depends.

We almost headed west this morning but the wife convinced me to stay. Got 1/2 way around Bever lake when the sky opened up. Looks like we will be hunkered down in our room till Sunday morning.
Well the last time here got to ride the pig trail with @EjFord leading. A church bus got in front and no one could pass .. only going 15 to 20 mph. That was last year...
Well today , we saw @EjFord at breakfast and he said he was leading a small group for a short ride , he said come on. I said ok let’s go.
Well I have decided that the good lord doesn’t want me to have fun and ride the pig trail!
There was what we in Texas call a deluge! We couldn’t ride the pig trail over 35 or 40,
There could be two things here, good lord doesn’t want me to ride it, or I just shouldn’t follow @ EjFord !!!
Not sure but all five of us got soaked, even with rain gear. Thank God no one got hurt but a very hard rain and I WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!!

Sorry you didn't get through the full ride...
But, the wife just told you it ain't over... ride with that!
Hit the Pig Trail and made it back before the rain hit.
We did get a quick ride in this am during the 4 hrs it wasn't raining. (Too bad the ride was 5 hrs long.)

Hey,
Does anyone remember @dangerdarrell making a post about the weather in the Ozarks? From what I recall it was supposed to be rain free, not blustery slinging.
Thanks Darrell.
Eureka Springs Subway.... anybody else notice the sign?

But more importantly...
Are ya hungry babe?
Well do we blame @dangerdarrell for this rain.
He said:
1 he is not a farmer
2 he is not a weatherman either
So with that I say I have to leave ES today and go home where it is dry.
Love you all and will see you on the sling trail.

Check this out!
It looks like we are going to get to play most of the day after all....
We all may need to be extra careful today. I'm guessing that some areas of roads may still be wet when the rest of it is dry. In some turns I am guessing rocks and other debris may have washed into the road.
So just keep an eye out for stuff like that....
I cant wait to get the SS out today. Allison is going to hang out with Lewis and go do some shopping downtown and I am going carve some dry roads.
Hopefully this forcast is correct and it dries out shortly . CHECK OUT THE TEMPS
Looks like its headed out!
loop
Were headed to eat breakfast at the other best western. They have a great buffet. We will be there at 8am if anyone wants to come eat.

@Boomer a pleasure meeting you and your wife. Think it will take a week or so for my wallet to dry out. Have a safe trip home!
Looks like the majority of the rain has moved northeast of Eureka. Might be able to ride some this afternoon. Of course 59 degrees is a far cry from the 97 it was when we rolled into town on Wednesday.
