Got the Fender Delete Kit Installed. I LOVE IT!!!
BTW, StickerDick, I used just a couple of self tapping TRUSS HEAD screws instead. Much smaller/flatter head that blends in much better than the SHCS. I also painted them and the stock bolts to match the red. Can barely see them in the side.

I really love the way this looks, but I worry about the hood losing the support that it gets from the top of the mud flaps

Support for the hood is not an issue. With the big barn doors (mud flaps) removed, the fenders dont flap. This is because the mud flaps cause an air dam that pushes up on the fender. The air now travels straight back and doesn't push up and make the fenders flap
-
I did notice a LITTLE vibration in the fender that wasn't there before. Again, not really lifting/flapping like I've seen some of them do, just a vibration along the outer edge. I may find some way to put a cushion out there anyways.

Great idea... send me some close up pictures of those please?

Here you go. You can get them at Home Depot/Lowes. I use them when I can't do a countersink but I still need a relatively flat or wide head.
-
ok cool, I can get those.

I used the upholstery washers myself, with the flat or round head screws, polished of course.

the truss head screws can be had in black as well

Raining again today so I decided to clean under the hood. The first time I have opened the hood since the last oil change over 3,500 miles ago. Now remember that my fenders are centered on the tires with maybe 1/2 inch clearance. I have one hard hit on the drivers side about top dead center about where the inside of the tire is. I also have a chip about the same location on the pass. side but about center of the fender, possible rock chip. Now also on the drivers side and the pass. side I have a rub/scuffed on the radius on the inside of the fender if measured from top dead center 11 inches to the rear. I cannot find what it had rubbed on, I had already cleaned the tub where it would have rubbed. Area wise about 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 inch looks like it was rubbed with fine sand paper. It buffed out with polish. RIGHT! NO PICTURES

OK... I have a new customer for the front fenders... he has the roaring Toyz wheel setup in 20" with a 9" width, but is not sure about his offset, I tried calling roaring toyz, but the gentleman that I talked to said they don't keep track of the offset, I find that hard to believe, but whatever. I know several of you have their wheel package on your slings..... could one of you tell me whatoffset you run please? Thank you for your help, as always!
-
Have them out their wheels dead straight and take a measurement from the frame to the inside of the tire and outside of the tire, both front and rear of the tire.
Measure from the ground to the top and the width of the tire.
I think I have the most extreme setup. I will compare it to mine with 12 mil of shim added and see where it falls if you would like. -
Mark, got my original set of tire/wheels from Roaring Toyz. Not surprised that they were not helpful. Not sure this will help as they offer all kinds of tire/wheel set ups. Mine are from 2016-Wheel 20X8.5, Offset 32,Style 21 (Roaring Toyz), XO Luxury Verona.

Thanks Guyz... I think both of your answers help a bunch. I will now get hese puppies mounted up!
