I am going to have about 10 hours in this and that is having everything to install (Tools)
Great, I can triple that time,... for one fender. Please tell me why I do this stuff with no experience?

If it's anything like your painting, I assume the answer is so that you learn it really well and can then turn out masterful work that eveyone is jealous of.
Finished everything up today including pulling the stock BS wings/fenders. I will run like they are until it warms up and then paint the fenders black.
hope to work on mine tomorrow, but I have a ton of work to do
how the bracket mounts to the spindle / hub
@FunCycle, check your bracket where the brake caliper is, my bracket hits the caliper. Yes I have the 1.25 spacer against the hub, I'll try to get a picture up
my bracket hits the brake line at the caliper, can I get a couple washers and space that back a little to clear the caliper? The washers will go in the same place with the 1.25 spacer making that 1.375 or 1.5. The picture is the passenger side
Still watching... hoping to see something to quiet my concern.

if you have a concern about something please voice it so many people can think about it and possibly figure a fix/answer for it.
There are bound to be some hiccups on this initial units until it gets all figured out.

You should be able to use 1/4 " spacer or a few washers to make that clear and still have the amount of thread for the bolt to have enough for the hub. I put my finger back inside the hub and could feel about 1/4" of more thread with the longer bolts Mark supplied. If you need more than that - then you will need to go with a longer 4.5" bolt.

Yes, just add a washer or two. I have been in the play room finishing up and pulling the master cylinder brace off so they can change the master cylinder on Monday morning. When I pull mine to paint I will add one washer to mine also.
I went ahead and checked my spacing it is on the brake line but I do not think it will be a problem. But I went ahead and added a 1.7mm thick washer (think heavy washer here) if you use the thin washers I would use two of them.

Just got the piece of the puzzle that was missing... concern erased. Not gonna be the folding box design i perceived...
Carry on!

not sure what part you are going to trim up but those look really really good there.

thank you sir, just making sure the fender matches the radius of the tire, cut down the extra in the back, making a large radius in the front so it's not straight across, maybe 4' and maybe a 3" radius on the corners. It's -6 outside right now, warming up the garage so I can get out there. Hope to have them complete today
