Headed to Huntsville from March 5 to 9th. Won't have the sling since it's a work trip, but wanted to try and meet up with some of the folks down that way if there is time. If not...can people recommend some places to get some decent food in the area?

I'm not uncomfortable around firearms...have a few myself. lol. Those firearms aren't going to jump out of their holsters and shoot anyone with your hand on the trigger.
I'll be flying in on Monday afternoon and out of Huntsville first thing Friday morning. If I get froggy I might be hitting the Jack Daniels Distillery on Thursday night.

Good deal! I have a good friend that lives there and I am sure that he can suggest some good places to eat.
I have been by the distillery several times and even been to it once but never did the tour.
We borrowed some barrels from them for my daughters wedding reception a few years ago. Good folks!My phone number is in my signature. Give me a shout a couple days ahead of your arrival and as long as work doesn't get in the way we'll try to hookup.

It will likely be 2pm before we can get away from the shop tomorrow. An hour to get cleaned up, 2 or 2.25hrs to drive to Huntsville considering the time of the day, throw in a 15min stop and that should put us there by 5:30 or so.
What type of food would you be interested in having tomorrow night?
