When the Chrysler 300C was initially released back in 2005 I was home briefly visiting and seen it in a music video (this was at the end of 2004) while flipping channels. I immediately knew I wanted that car but was clueless to what it was or where to begin the purchase process. I called the video department for the channel the music video was being shown on and eventually was put in contact with someone who was happy to tell me the car wasn't yet out but it was a Chrysler 300 and would be released soon. I returned back overseas doing all the research possible as I knew I'd purchase this vehicle.

Fast forward a few years later after I'd purchased it, so many vendors were putting together aftermarket parts for it and body kits. The one that really made my stomach turn a bit was the Bentley front end. Don't get me wrong I loved the ingenuity of the fabricators but I purchased a Chrysler and had no desire to make it the higher dollar Bentley. Of course eventually Chrysler flooded the market with them and they begin to be cheapened with every new mod that appeared--again, some mods were GREAT! Some, hopefully inspired others to achieve the look that Chrysler should have gotten right initially. Eventually the designer of the 300 and Chrysler had a "Make it Your Own" promotion and took a lot of the guys and girls from the forum who'd done so much to promote the brand. It's kind of like what I'm seeing happening here.

There won't be every modification that will be right for me and although I may joke or poke fun, it is not my intentions to knock them for the handwork and hours they put into fabrication to make their vision come to fruition. Please understand this wasn't intended as a "look at the horror" thread but more as a "how to gauge the general external appearance" of the SS--what direction most would head into. As I stated, I definitely would purchase the front fillers for the grill as it completes the front end.

I'm looking at the 300c as a possibility for my next family sedan once the Lincoln MKS EcoBoost is done...

Of course, it has to be the SRT8 version...

I actually just bought my goddaughter a 2018 300 not a STR8... the interior and styling is very nice!
