If we want to play we got to pay. My Slingshot was the FIRST one every registered and titled and plated in Indiana.... When we could finally get some vanity plates after a period on none... I got Sling 1 ... my extra cost is only $45.00/yr plus $275.00 === $315.00 and I'm in a state where fees aren't to bad?????????????

50 bucks added to cost of tag for personal plate in Alabama

An online renewal for 2 years registration of a motorcycle in NM, sets me back $34.75 - same for SS.

(That’s a regular plate. Never had a vanity plate in my life & totally uninterested in getting one)

Ga is not cheap but I'm OK with it because we no longer have an annual "birthday tax" that was a percentage of the vehicles value. An example was my Jeep. Every year I had the tag fee and then an additional $350.

And @HeRSlings is SLing2. Just paid renewal the 1st. Each is $34.

Splurge... they’re worth every penny IMHO!

In Manitoba, we pay a one time fee of $75.

From there on, we just pay our normal registration fees.

CA will go bankrupt with all their entitlement funding. Luckily, even in this socialist state of Taxachusetts, because it's registered as a motorcycle I only get charged $20/year plus an additional $50/year for the vanity. Let's not get into the excise tax I pay for each vehicle owned based on assessed value. It's theft, pure and simple.

In Oklahoma the “extra” for personalized is $23 annually. The regular one is anywhere from $99 to $29 annually depending on how long it’s been registered.
