Why we do not have a tall windshield

Have to agree with you on this. Quite a few times I have had the windscreen fog over on my motorcycles. For that reason I like to be able to see over or around them.

Yes, it is no fun running about 85 mph on the inter state and it fogs up if you can not see over

Maybe @oneshot could duct a defroster for you northerners.

If I was worried about riding safe I would not be riding in that weather. That’s why I’m in Florida for the winter months.

@ericastar76 Google trucklite and look at their patented 7" round heated polycarbonate LED headlights. patent is only for lights. Problem would be the distortions looking through a W/S with this installed.

If it's gonna possible rain I keep a large cotton towel in easy reach. Have had to use it many times.

If I am out of town, I always keep a couple of towels close by and keep a dry one in the glove box.

How about putting in air diffusers on each side (low profile) with a low amp duct fan to draw up engine heat? Something 300CFM??

possible and I'll add one more idea. Think of the heat exchanger on an old air-cooled bug used for the heater. Have always though an easy heater (stock down pipe) would be to have a second sealed cover over the down pipe and have the same system you mentioned above pull air in, around the heated down pipe and then into the cabin. Never really drive in the cold to warrant the development work. Just too many things in front of it.

I was thinking along the lines of a bathroom hand dryer... the windscreen has such a thin/small surface area, it would effectively bead the water off with pressure and make it dry via heat.
