Cleaning Question

Well, this worked for me, I took 1 part woollite and 2 parts water, mixed them in a spray bottle and sprayed my seats. I used a small scrub brush and then just wiped with a clean rag. WOW, were my seats dirty. It might not show in the picture, but the driver side seat is the dirty seat. I showed it to my wife and she could not believe it. Now to just treat them with a protectant.
Looks great, but you're doing it wrong...
I didn't see you mention f11, top coat, or Lucas slick mist...

Not to move too far off topic, but do any of you have floor mats? Rubber or carpet? If carpet how do you keep them clean and how well does it do when wet?
My better halve is worried about scratching the existing floor.

Great stuff easy to clean -
It’s going to get scratched up...I bought a roll of black outdoor carpeting to make my own and now I’m debating about whether it will mildew if it gets wet....they have rubber mats...

I picked up some of these from slingshot only and they work OK so far. Easy to clean, just pull out and wash. Had them for about a year now. If I was buying now, I would go with @Ruptured Duck

I am replace those with the ones from mean Sling. They look nice and are easy to clean but show a lot of dirt - makes me crazy. mine are also starting to come apart in a few places. But I have had them in for 2 years now.

Some folks have made their own mats. Materials used vary from rubber mats typically used in front of workbenches to padded rubber runners.
Here's a thread on making your own mats from The Dark Side - Floor mat thoughts / ideas? | Polaris Slingshot Forum
I bought some mats from Slingshotonly, IIRC, but haven't installed them. PM me and I can supply more info, assuming I can find the box in the garage. -

This is the product I was using on my Sling and yours the other day.

The floors are slick, easy fix with skateboard tape. Plus no scratching.

I love the Lucas slick mist Speed Wax so much this time when it came time to get more I decided to try the entire line - got this kit of three 24oz bottles and a MF towel for $21

I use the tire and trim to spray the under side of the hood (mine is black from the factory) makes it look like you just cleaned it up. A whole lot easier than trying to wash. Open the hood place a tarp or an old thick blanket across the engine and head lights. Sprap the under side of the hood (WET) with the tire and trim and let drip dry. When it drys it will look like it just came of the show room floor.

Let us know how well that works out...
and I like that bonus!Sometimes I get out of the shower and wish I had a MF towel!

MF = micro fiber
oh and it also comes with an tire dressing applicator -

Maybe in your neck of the woods...
MF = micro fiber.
But around here when you get out of the shower and have to walk down the hall dripping wet...
It ain't micro fiber!
