It was SOOOOOOO much better than Disney.Shatneyman wrote:
Wish I could have taken the Slingshot with but when I left it was snowing and when I got back today we had 3 inches of snow on the ground - but in Indiana it was over 60 degrees and the sun even came out in the afternoon
It was so awesome and such a privilege to hang out with these such great people. Salt of the earth - best family away from home ever.
I thought @SlingRider @Slingrazor and I were going to surprise @Painter when I showed up but they pulled a fast one over on me and I was the one surprised.
For an entire day they let be king - ohhh so cool! They let me take hundreds of photos of their Slingshots. It is like trying to take a photo of the Mona Lisa where the photo can never do real justice to the beauty in person but some how it was actually better because they let me pose their Mona Lisa's and mess around with some fun stuff I have been dying to do.
Then it got even better - the rain cleared away and @EjFord @Bu11sh1t and his lovely wife @Goats_Hogs @bjk81 @byron showed up. It felt like a family reunion but with people you like - LOL just kidding - it was like a family reunion only better. It ended far too quickly with folks hitting the road to avoid rain and get back to loved ones but what an awesome little get together - I know I could have taken hundreds more photos of their rides and listening to their stories - good times, very good times
@Painter - thank you again for having me in your home and thank your lovely wife for lunch that was so nice and so much more than expected
Then after a quick ride to go find gasoline (or not depending on @SlingRider perspective) another group photo session [with handicapped parking] it was time for a dinner and more photos into the early morning hours
Sometime between midnight and 1 AM we wrapped up the photo shoot - wow, what a day - I am so privileged and blessed to be welcomed with open arms by @Painter @SlingRider and @Slingrazor
More stories and photos to follow and maybe a video or two but here's one I grabbed within the first few minutes of arriving ... we'll just call it Industrial Beauty
